GPS key
Turns power to antenna on and off. To turn off the
antenna, press and hold the GPS key for more than three
seconds. The GPS key alwayS turns on when the unit
powers on.
When the position update rate is set to Continuous, press
this key to turn on the antenna (light is green). Press the
key again to turn off the antenna (light is off).
When the position update rate is set to Interval, press this
key to turn on the antenna at interval rate (light is red).
Pressing the key again changes the position update rate
to Continuous (light is green). Then press the key to turn
off the antenna (light is off).
The key's light flashes green and red when you approach
or reach your destination, or when you deviate from your
course.
LIGHT key
Turns the display's backlighting and the keypad
illumination on and off.
MENU key
Displays the menu screen (MENU mode). In this mode,
you can make various system settings. display the
satellite status and point memo. calculate the distance,
and more.

CARD key
Enters CARD mode. In this mode, you can operate IC
memory cards. You can move data to and from cards,
load data from cards, and more.
POINT key
Enters POINT mode. In this mode, you can create,
modify, delete, and search for navigation points.
ROUTE key
Enters ROUTE mode. In this mode, you can create,
modify, delete. and search for navigation routes.
POS key
Enters POS (position) mode. In this mode, you can
display your current position, navigate and display
navigation information, record and display your course,
and more.
DISPLAY key
Changes the display to grid, text, and course deviation.
You can also display a selection menu of stored point/
route names when selecting points or routes.
MARK key
Stores your current position in memory. When the key's
light is on, this indicates that the unit can store your
current position. When the key's light is off, this indicates
that the unit cannot store your current position.
Note:
The MARK key automatically turns off when the GPS key is off.
The key does not turn on unless the current position is acquired
when the GPS key is turned on.
ENTER key
Selects screen items, positions, and executes functions.
Directional cursor key
Moves the cursor up, down, left, and right, to select
screen items or position.
RECALL key
Cancels an entry or selection, and returns to the previous
display.
ZOOM (+/-) key
Zooms in and out of maps and changes the scales of the
latitude and longitude grid. Map zoom works only on map
cards with variable scales.
Function keys
The function of the keys — F1 through F4 — varies,
depending on displayed screens.
