Tracking Your Course
This section explains how to track your course travelled.
You can record and display a graphic representation and information about your trip
from your starting point to your current position. The course travelled in your trip is
called "track" (see figure below).
Ending point
The unit provides the following information:
¢ Total distance from the starting point to your current position
* Direction from the starting point to your current position
* WGS84 altitude (this is the altitude based on the World Geodetic System 1984
coordinates)
In POS mode, you can track your course travelled, display and delete the track, and
enter, modify, and search for track names.
To enter POS mode, press the POS key.
To record a track:

Before recording a track, make sure the

Press the F3 key (TRACK).

Choose START RECORDING from the Track menu.
Press the ENTER or F2 key (START) to start recording a track.

The unit assigns a temporary name for the track, such as " TRACKO01."
When
you want to enter a track name before starting to record a track, press
the F4 key (INPUT) in step 3.
Recording begins.
To stop recording the track:

Choose QUIT RECORDING from the Track menu.
