FAN_ID6: Motor overtemperature

Does the error message appear sporadically?
Make sure that there is no heat source (e.g. deep
fryer, stove) next to the unit. All details are included
in the installation instructions.
Check supply air (hoses, solenoid for leaks). Replace
damaged hoses. Check whether the fault still
appears.
Replace motor control unit. Check whether the fault
still appears.
Description
The error message was introduced with software version 3.3.17.
The temperature from the motor is monitored via an integrated
thermal switch (bimetal). In faultless condition this is closed
(passage). In the event of an error, the contact opens and the error
message FAN_ID6: Motor overtemperature appears. After cooling
down, the thermoswitch resets itself automatically.

Disconnect the cable from the motor at connection
S501 on the motor control unit. Perform continuity
(resistance) test on the wire from the motor. The
motor must not be hot during this process.is there
continuity (approx. 0 Ohm)?

Replace motor.
