Before contacting devices, wear antistatic clothing and ESD gloves, and take
off electricity-conductive materials such as watches and jewelries, as shown in
Figure 1-2.
shows how to wear an ESD wrist strap.
Secure the wrist strap around your wrist.
Fasten the strap buckle and ensure that the ESD wrist strap is snug against
the skin.
Insert the attached ground terminal into the jack on the grounded rack or
chassis.
