A PSU is
faulty
(the PSU

power
output
and the
health
indicator

blinking
red).
Issue 12 (2022-08-30)
Handling Procedure
1. Check the PSU indicator and
record alarms on the iBMC
WebUI. For details, see
Using Indicators to Locate
Faults.
2. Check whether an "AC lost"
alarm is generated.
● If yes, check that the power
cable is connected properly
and that the PDU is
supplying power properly.
● If no, go to 3.
3. Replace the PSU with a spare
PSU and check whether the
fault is rectified.
● If yes, no further action is
required.
● If no, go to 4.
4. Replace the PSU backplane or
replace the mainboard if no
PSU backplane is configured.
Check whether the fault is
rectified.
● If yes, no further action is
required.
● If no, contact Huawei
technical support.

Quick Recovery Method
1. Check whether the current
configuration has sufficient

affected.
● If no, contact Huawei
technical support.
2. Replace the faulty PSU with
a spare PSU. Do not install
the faulty PSU into a server
again.
