Handling Procedure
1. Remove the server node, and
check whether its power
connector is damaged.
● If yes, replace the mainboard
or chassis of the server
node.
● If no, go to 2.
2. Do not install the faulty server
node into a server again. Install
a spare component when
available.
Diagnose the faults based on the fault symptoms listed in the following table.

5 Diagnosing and Rectifying Faults
Quick Recovery Method
1. Remove the faulty server
node. Check whether other
server nodes work properly.
(Do not install the node into
a server again.)
● If yes, services are not
affected.
● If no, contact Huawei
technical support.
2. Follow the handling
procedure to replace any
faulty modules.
