5 Diagnosing and Rectifying Faults
Status Description
Off The network
port is not
connected.
Blinking Data is being
yellow transmitted over
the network
port.
Diagnosis
1. Connect the
port to
another
switch and
network
cable to
check
whether the
original
switch and
network
cable are
normal.
2. Check
whether the
ports on the
switch and
NIC are up.
3. Check
whether the
NIC is
operating
properly.
