Remote Access Software Version 5.3 Release Notes
300115-B Rev. A
62
Table 12 Disconnect Reason Descriptions (Continued)
Disconnect Reason Success Indication Explanation
Modem Protocol -
Graceful
Remote
Modem Cleardown
Graceful
This indicates a modem
protocol teardown by
the modem at the
remote end. The client
software initiated a
modem hangup request
via the modem's AT
command set. This
would likely be due to
the user requesting a
termination of the
session.
Specifically, the remote
(dial-in) modem
dropped the call upon
command from the link
protocols, such as
V.42bis or MNP, from
the remote modem.
Cleardown is the same
as "Modem Protocol -
Remote", except that it
deals with V.32 instead
of V.34.
This condition could
be caused by the user
pulling out the modem's
RS232 cable, or, more
likely, turning the
computer (not modem)
off.
