Dialing a Call With the Slide-Out Dial Pad

1. Click on the dial pad icon to access the dial pad.
2. Enter the number you want to dial.
- To make corrections, select the digits to change, and enter the new digits.
- To change to keyboard mode, simply click in the Quick Connector Box.
3. Click Call.

Receiving Calls

Whenever you get an incoming call, the Caller ID screen pop window is displayed. From
this window, you can:
• answer a call
• forward the call directly to your voice mail or to another person
• view you contact information about the caller
• start an MSN Instant Messenger chat session with the caller (only available if
displayed).
To answer a call
• Click Answer. The Communications window opens.
Note: If you are currently on a call and choose to answer an incoming call, the current
call is automatically put on hold (see "Hold" on page 28 for information on handling
calls on hold).
To forward a call to your voice mail
• Click Send to Voice Mail.
