Dialing from PIM
Most PIMs can be configured to launch a call from the PIM itself. In this section, we show
you how to set up and make a call from Microsoft Outlook. For information on making calls
from other PIMs, refer to the PIM's documentation, or talk to your system administrator.
To set up dial from PIM for Microsoft Outlook
1. In Microsoft Outlook, go to your Contacts window.
2. Select a contact, then click the phone icon on the toolbar.
OR
Right-click the contact, and select Call Contact.
3. Click Dialing Options.
4. In the Connect using line pull-down menu, select your softphone number/name, then
click OK.
