9 ADJUSTMENTS
9.1

TRACTION CONTROL PEDAL _______________________________________

The LPV transmission pump has an internal neutralizing
mechanism which cannot be adjusted. If the machine does
however creep carry out the following.
1.
Lift and support machine so that both front and rear
wheels are off the ground and free to rotate.
2.
Remove ball joint from pump lever to allow pump to
neutralize. (A)
3.
Start engine, manually move the pump control lever and
release to ensure wheels stop rotating.
4.
Operate foot pedal to ensure cable is free.
5.
Reattach ball joint to pump lever.
6.
Move the foot pedal in forward & reverse directions to
ensure there is no creep in neutral position.

TRACTION BOOST / WEIGHT TRANSFER ADJUSTMENT ________________

Traction Boost / Weight Transfer function allows the
operator to transfer ground pressure from the cutting units
to the wheels, assisting either the ground following of
cutting units or the traction of the wheels when required.
The Weight Transfer can be adjusted on the lift valve and
is accessible from under the operators platform via the
removable access panel or from under the machine

Loosen the locknut A.
Using an Allen key B, rotate the spool shaft in the

direction D to increase the Weight Transfer to the drive
wheels. To decrease the Weight Transfer to the drive
wheels, rotate the shaft in direction C. When the traction
control button is operated on the control pod, the weight
distribution you have set will engage. Use the Transfer to adjust for the cutting unit movement on rough ground
and for traction on slopes. To set the Weight Transfer, use 1/4-turn at a time then test the Weight Transfer.
3.
Hold the threaded shaft with the Allen Key B. Tighten the Locknut A.
