Replacement or Installation of an Additional High Port-Density PSU-
integrated NIF
The high port-density PSU-integrated NIF is installed into the slot for the packet switching
unit.

Caution: Do not touch the electronic components on the solder side of a NIF. To avoid
damage, always store these components in approved anti-static bags.
NOTE: For GS4000-80E1 and GS4000-160E1, the required number of power supply
modules varies depending on whether or not a high port-density PSU-integrated
NIF is installed.

NOTE: When installing another NIF, remove the dummy blank panel. Store the removed
dummy panel safely, so that it doesn't get bent or lost.
