3.2.7 1000BASE-LH Single-mode (DSF) Optical Fiber Cable
(Core Diameter: 8 μm, SC Twin-Core Connector)
This is used for the connection with 1000BASE-LH (GBIC-LH).
The boundary with 1000BASE-LH is the connector on GS4000.
The maximum transmission distance between the devices with 1000BASE-LH when using an
optic fiber which core/clad diameter is 8／125μm (wave length: 1500nm) is 70 km.
Figure 3.2-7 shows the rough sketch of the cable, and Table 3.2-12 shows the specification of
an optic fiber interface.
