4.5.5 Attachment/Detachment of GS4000-160E2/GS4000-320E (DC) Power Cables
The following procedures for attaching and detaching a power cable are used in common
between the case of GS4000-160E2 and that of GS4000-320E (DC).
(1) Attachment of a Cable
WARNING: BECAUSE DC POWER CABLES ARE CONNECTED TO TERMINAL
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE CIRCUIT BREAKER OF A POWER FACILITY IS
Step 1
Remove the terminal board cover from the terminal board.

BOARDS, ATTACHING OR REMOVING A DC POWER CABLE TO OR FROM
THE DEVICE MUST BE DONE BY A TRAINED MAINTENANCE PERSON.
MISHANDLING DC POWER CABLES CAN CAUSE A FIRE OR AN ELECTRIC
SHOCK.
SET TO OFF BEFORE ATTACHING OR REMOVING A DC POWER CABLE.
ATTACHING OR REMOVING A DC POWER CABLE WITH THE CIRCUIT
BREAKER SET TO ON WILL CAUSE AN ELECTRIC SHOCK.
