REAR AXLE
Support the rear axle with the V-blocks and measure the rear
axle runout with the dial gauge as shown. If the runout exceeds
the service limit, replace the rear axle with a new one.
Rear axle runout:
Service Limit: 6 mm (0.23 in)
09900-20607: Dial gauge (1/100 mm)
09900-20701: Magnetic stand
09900-21304: V-block set (100 mm)
REAR SPROCKET
Inspect the rear sprocket teeth for wear. If they are worn as illus-
trated, replace the sprocket and drive chain as a set.
• Remove the rear sprocket 1 .
• Remove the dust seal 2 .
REAR AXLE HOUSING
Inspect the rear axle housing for damage. If any defects are
found, replace the rear axle housing with a new one.
