Piston ring thickness
Standard:
1st: 0.97 – 0.99 mm (0.0382 – 0.0390 in)
2nd: 0.97 – 0.99 mm (0.0382 – 0.0390 in)
PISTON RING END GAP
Fit the piston ring squarely into the cylinder and measure the
piston ring end gap using the thickness gauge.
If any of the measurements exceeds the service limit, replace
the piston ring with a new one.
Piston ring end gap:
Service Limit:
1st: 0.80 mm (0.031 in)
2nd: 0.80 mm (0.031 in)

CONROD

CONROD SMALL END I.D.
Using a small bore gauge, measure the inside diameter of the
conrod small end. If the inside diameter of the conrod small end
exceeds the limit, replace the conrod.
Conrod small end I.D.:
Service Limit: 14.040 mm ( 0.5527 in)
09900-20602: Dial gauge (1/1 000 mm, 1 mm)
09900-22403: Small bore gauge (18 - 35 mm)
CONROD DEFLECTION AND BIG END SIDE CLEARANCE
Wear on the big end of the conrod can be estimated by checking
the movement of the small end of the rod. This method can also
be used to check the extent of wear on the parts of the conrod
big end.
Conrod deflection
Service Limit: 3.0 mm (0.12 in)
