2.2.1 Extractor, filler and measurement con‐
nections with Schrader valve
Note
Carefully screw in the handwheel of the service coupling after

connecting the A/C service station and only so far until the
valve of the service connection is safely opened (observe the
pressure gauge, do not over-press the valve).
Carefully tighten the valve core -2- because of the low tight‐
♦
ening torque.
These valves are available in different versions and thus have
♦
different tightening torques; if the valve core -2- has a thread
of VG5 (5.2 x 0.7 mm, tyre valve) the tightening torque is 0.4
±0.1 Nm, a valve core with a thread of M6 x 0.75 mm has a
tightening torque of 0.9±0.1 Nm and a valve core with a thread
of M8 x 1.0 mm has a tightening torque of 2.0±0.2 Nm.
Observe the correct version of the valve core -2- and the cor‐
