FRONT WHEEUSUSPENSION/STEERING
Route the WIre

(page 1·23).
HPSD
Install the clutch lever bracket and hOlder with the
punch mark on the holder facing up.
Align the end of the holder with the paint mark on the
handlebar.
Install and tighten the clutch lever bracket holder upper
bolt first, then the lower boll securely.
Inslalithe holders, engine stop button and screw on the
handlebar.
Align each holder end with the paint mark on the
handlebar as shown .
Tighten the engine slop switch screw to the specified
torque.
TORQUE: 1.5 N' m (0.2 kgf'm , 1.1IbHt)
Clamp the engine stop button wire with the wire bands.
After '14: Install the engine mode select swilchlindicalor
(page 6-76).
Install the handlebar pad.
Adjust the clutch lever free play (page 4-30),
REMOVALIINSTALLATION
Remove the number plate (page 3-6).
'09 - '12: Remove the steering damper botts , collar and steering
damper.
After
'12: Remove the steering damper bolts, collar, connector
stay and steering damper.
