FUEL INJECTOR SIDE
1. Be sure that the slide relainer is completely pulled
up before connecting the quick connect filling.
Connect the quick connect filtlng
to the fuel pipe
until you hear the
·CllCK~
while holding the
connector housing.
If it is hard to connect put a small amount of engine
oil on the pipe end .
2.
Lock the slide retainer by pushing it until you hear
the
"CllCK~.
Make sure the connection is secure and that the
slide retainer
IS
firmly locked into place; check
visually and by pulling the connector.

Install the setting rubber and clamp.
Install and tighten the bolt to the specified torque .
TORQUE : 3.4 N·m (0.3 kgf-m , 2.5 IbHt)
4. Increase the fuel pressure and check that there is no
leakage in fuel supply system (page 6-49).
FUEL PRESSURE INCREASING
1. Connect the 12 V battery (,09: page 6-19, After '09:
page
6·19).
2. '09 : Temporarily install the fuel lank onlo the frame,
' 10 • '12: Connect the fuel pump 5P (Black)
connector and install the fuel lank (page 6-59).
After '12: Connect the fuel pump 2P (Black)
connector and install the fuel lank (page 6-59),
3. Tum the · PUMp· selector switch ON.
4. Run the fuel pump for about 3 - 5 seconds and raise
the fuel pressure.
S. Turn the ·PUMp· selector SWItch OFF

Check that there is no leakage in the fuel supply "PUMp· SELECTOR SWITCH
system.
Remove the battery harness (page 6-19).
Install the fuel tank (page 4-6) .
