'09 - '12: Make the mechanic's stopper 1001 from a thin piece of
sleel (2.0 mm (0.08 in) thick) as shown
if
you do not
have a special tool.

'12: Hold the fork center bolt lock nut using the 15 mm
(9116
in) open end wrench, and remove the fork center bolt
from the fork damper.
Remove the O-ring and sealing washer from the fork
center boll.
'13- '14: Push Ihe fork damper Qut from Ihe slider unlillhe fork
cen ter bolt lock nut is fully exposed.
Hold the fork center bolt lock nul using the 15 mm (9/16
in) open end wrench, and remove the fork center bolt
from Ihe fork damper.
Remove Ihe O-ring and sealing washer from the fork
center bolt.
Remove the push rod from Ihe piston rod.
