REMOVAUINSTALLATION
Remove the number plale (page 3-6).
Hang the fuel tank to th e left side of the frame
(page
4-6).
Disconnect the engine mode select switch/indicator 4P
(Black) connector.
Remove the wire band.
Replace the wire band with a new one when
installing it.
Remove the wire bands.
Remove the screw, engine mode select switchl
indicator. and holder.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
TORQUE:
Engine mode select switchfindicator:
1.5 N'm (0.2 kgf' m, 1.1Ibf-ft)
SWITCH INSPECTION
Disconnect the engine mode select switch/indicator 4P
(Black) connector (page 6-76).
Check for continuity between the Ughl green and Red
wire terminals of the engine mode select switchl
indicator side connector.
There should be continuity with the engine mode select
switch pushed and no continuity with the switch
released.
