FUEL SYSTEM (PGM-FI)

2. Inslall a,

3. Install the connector to the fuel injector
joint
by

aligning retainer tabs with joint rubber grooves.
Then press the quick connect fitting onto the fuel
injector joint until both retainer locking pawls lock
with
a
·CLlCK".
If it is hard to connect, put a small amount of engine
oil on the fuel injector joint end .
JOINT
4. Make sure the connection is secure and that the
~ JO = = ' N = T=R = = U = B = B = E ~ R -­
pawls are firmly locked into place; check visually and
by pulling the connector.
Make sure the joint rubber is in place (between the
flange and retainer tab).

5. Install the selting rubber and clamp ,

SETIING RUBBER
Install the fuel feed hose stay, aligning its tab with the
groove of the fuel feed hose stay.
Install and tighten the bolt securely.
6. Increase the fuel pressure and check thai there is no
leakage in fuel supply system (page 4-6 ).
QUICK CONNECT FITTING
INSTALLATION (After '14)
Do not bend or twist fuel hose.
00 not reuse kinked or damaged fuel hose.
Do
nol use gloves or a shop towel while Installing the
quick connect filling.
