Drive
in a new
bearing squarely
with the marking
side facing toward
the inside of the
crankcase.
CRANKCASE/CRANKSHAFTITRANSMISSION/BALANCER
Remove the crankshaft oil seals and bearings from both
crankcase halves.
Drive in a new crankshaft bearings into both crankcase

halves using the special tools.

Right crankshaft bearing :

Pilot, 30 mm
Left crankshaft bearing:

After installation. apply engine oil to the crankshaft

bearings .

Install new T30 torx screws with the set plates and

l ighten the torx screws to the specified torque.
TORQUE : 22 N·m (2.2 kgf·m, 16 IbHt)
Apply grease to a new right crankshaft 011 seal lips.
Ins/all the right
Install the right crankshaft oil seal until it Is flush with the
crankshaft oil seal
crankcase surface.
