CLUTCH/KICKSTARTERIGEARSHIFT LINKAGE
Apply molybdenum oil solution to the clutch lifter lever
cam area (Contact area of dutch lifter rod),
Install the dutch lifter lever into the left crankcase.
Connect the clutch cable to the clutch lifter lever.
Install the clutch lifter rod (page 11-14).
LIFTER LEVER BEARING
REPLACEMENT
Remove the following:
- Clutch lifter lever (page 11 -20)
- Cam chain tensioner lifter (do not remove the
cylinder head) (page 10-5)
Remove the engine from the frame (page 8-6).
Remove the lifter lever needle bearings using the
special tools.
TOOLS :

12mm
- Remover weight
- Remover head , 12 mm
- Remover shaft

Apply engine oil to new needle bearings.
Drive in new needle bearings using the special tools to
the Specified depth below the crankcase surface as
shown.

Install the engine into the frame (page 8-9).
Install the following:
- Cam chain tensioner lifter (page 10·11)
- Ctutch lifter lever (page 11·20)
