1. Wipe off the ink adhering to the top of the platen by using a cloth with a neutral detergent
applied.
2. Likewise, wipe off soiling on the edges of the platen where the roll media emerges.
3. If ink has cured in the vacuum holes, scrape it off with a pointed object and remove it.
You can also use an adhesive tape such as a duct tape to remove the ink.
1. Vacuum holes
• After cleaning, check that the platen is dry before setting media.
