3. Basic Operations
Perform this procedure when the misalignment between the left and right media gradually increases
during printing, or when it is difficult to properly align with soft media.
1. Cut position (For high quality printing)

Launch Print Control.

Click [Roll] and then confirm that the display switches to [Roll].

Click " " until the media returns to the roll shaft of the winding unit, and then click [Stop].
: Media moves to the back
: Media moves to the front

Fix the central tip of the media to the roll core on the roll shaft of the winding unit with
adhesive tape.
When winding the media with the printing surface facing inward, wind the media from the lower
side of the winding roller.
When winding the media with the printing surface facing outward, wind the media from the upper
side of the winding roller.

Turn the winding tension control knob counterclockwise to the lowest graduation, and
then set the media winding switch to "ON".
First, turn the winding tension control knob gradually clockwise until the media becomes evenly
stretched. After the media becomes evenly stretched, turn the knob two more graduations
clockwise.
