Be careful not to stretch the media too much. Doing so may affect the transfer accuracy.
Printing surface is outside: Turn the media winding switch counterclockwise to set it to on.
Printing surface is inside: Turn the media winding switch clockwise to set it to on.
As the winding diameter increases, slack may occur. In that case, turn the knob to adjust the
tension.
If the media winding switch is turned on but the winding tension control knob has not been returned
to the lowest graduation, the media fixed to the roll core may become detached.

Click " " on Print Control to roll the media around the roll core a few time (approximately
500 mm (19.7 inches)).

Click [Stop].

Turn on Vacuum button.

Set the vacuum pressure control knob to 0.

Use the vacuum pressure control knob to increase the suction until there is no floating or
waviness in the media.
If the problem of the lifting of the media due to heat from the UV lamp cannot be solved, see
page 65 "When Media Curls While Feeding".

Touch both edges of the media at the rear to make sure they are not slack.
