5.3 Procedure for Turning On the Power

5.3.1 Procedure for Turning ON the Power
When turning ON the power supply to the system incorporating the pulse output unit, turn ON
the power supply in the following order.
Consider the nature and statuses of any external devices connected to the system, and take
sufficient care so that turning ON the power supply will not initiate unexpected movements.
1.
Turn ON the power supplies for the input and output devices connected to the PLC.
(Including the power supply for the line driver output or open collector output)
2.
Turn ON the power supply for the PLC.
3.
Turn ON the power supply for the motor driver.

5.3.2 Procedure for Turning OFF the Power

When turning OFF the power supply to the system incorporating the pulse output unit, turn OFF
the power supply in the following order.
1.
Make sure that the rotation of the motor has stopped, and then turn OFF the power supply
for the motor driver.
2.
Turn OFF the power supply for the PLC.
