Setting of Low Noise Operation and Demand Operation

Setting of Low Noise Operation
By connecting the external contact input to the low noise input of the external control adaptor for
outdoor unit (optional), you can lower operating noise by 2-3 dB.
When the low noise operation is automatically carried out at night (The external control
adaptor for outdoor unit is not required)

While in setting mode 2, select the setting condition (i.e., Mode 1, Mode 2, or Mode 3) for
set item No. 22 (Setting of night-time low noise level).
If necessary, while in setting mode 2, select the setting condition (i.e., 8:00 PM, 10:00
PM, or 12:00 AM) for set item No. 26 (Setting of start time of night-time low noise
operation).
(Use the start time as a guide since it is estimated according to outdoor temperatures.)
If necessary, while in setting mode 2, select the setting condition (i.e., 06:00 AM, 07:00
AM, or 08:00 AM) for set item No. 27 (Setting of end time of night-time low noise
operation).
(Use the end time as a guide since it is estimated according to outdoor temperatures.)
If necessary, while in setting mode 2, set the setting condition for set item No. 29 (Setting
of capacity precedence) to ON.
(If the condition is set to ON, when the air-conditioning load reaches a high level, the
system enters to normal operation mode even during night-time.)
If capacity precedence is set in capacity
precedence setting, the fan speed will be
increased according to the load of air
conditioning when load is heavier.
