Method of Error Abnormality is detected according to the temperature detected by the discharge pipe thermistor.

Error Decision
The discharge pipe temperature rises to an abnormally high level.
Conditions The discharge pipe temperature rises suddenly.

 Defective discharge pipe thermistor (R2T)
Causes  Disconnection of discharge pipe thermistor (R2T)
 Defective outdoor unit PCB

Be sure to turn off the power switch before connecting or disconnecting
Caution
connectors, or parts may be damaged.
When the unit
stops operating because of
an error, is the discharge pipe
temperature higher than
120°C (248°F)?

Pull the discharge pipe thermistor out from
the outdoor unit PCB and then measure
the resistance with a multimeter.
Are the
discharge pipe thermistor
properties normal?
