13.1 INTRODUCTION
5. Click on XPRESSION BUILDER. A File Download dialog box will appear. Choose the Save This Program
to Disk option and choose or create an appropriate directory to load the Xpression Builder installation pro-
gram. The file XPRESS.EXE will be placed in this directory.
6. Close down all applications that are running on the PC. Start the XPRESS.EXE program by double-click-
ing its icon. The following dialog box is displayed:

7. Click on the Next button to begin the installation.
8. The Software License dialog box will appear. Carefully read the Software license agreement. Click Yes if
you agree with the terms of license; clicking No will terminate the Setup program.
9. Setup will prompt for a directory to install the Xpression Builder software. Click Browse to choose an
appropriate directory or Next to accept the default directory C:\XPRESS.
10. Xpression Builder Setup will now install the software. When the installation process is finished, the Installa-
tion Complete dialog box will appear. Check Yes, I want to view the ReadMe file to view the latest soft-
ware information and click Finish. The software is now installed.
b) INSTALLING FROM THE INTERNET
To install the software from the GE Power Management web site enter the following URL in your Web browser:
www.ge.com/indsys/pm
The home page is the same as that shown in Figure 13–1: GEPM PRODUCTS CD PRIMARY SCREEN on
page 13–2. Follow the above procedure from step 3 to continue the installation.
