11.2 LPSO-LINK INSTALLATION

Before proceeding verify that your computer is working well and meets the requirements above.
Connect the printer to the parallel port of the PC. You may have to choose an appropriate printer driver using
the Windows Print Manager. For more details refer to the printer's installation manual.
It is assumed that the relay is installed and configured according to the Interface section of this instruction
book.
Microsoft Windows must be installed on your PC before proceeding with LPSO-Link Installation. Installation of
the LPS-O software suite will install all of the following software packages: LPSO-Link, ALPS-Test, and Xpres-
sion Builder.
a) INSTALLING FROM PRODUCTS CD
To install LPSO-Link from the Products CD:
1. Start Windows.
2. Insert the GE Power Management Products CD into your local CD-ROM drive. The CD-ROM autorun utility
will automatically load the page shown in Figure 11–2: GEPM PRODUCTS CD PRIMARY SCREEN into
your default web browser.
