To remove the stand, complete with
support plate, disconnect the side
stand switch connector and remove
the three screws (7) that fasten the
plate to the engine.
Exhaust

1 Lambda probes
2 Flanged, self-locking used for fasten-
ing the exhaust flanges to the big
ends
3 Cyl. head, hex. socket screws used
for fastening the shock absorber pro-
tection
4 Manifold fastening clamps
5 Terminal fastening clamp
6 Flanged, hex. head screws used for
fastening the terminal front coupling
to the support bracket
The engine and the exhaust system components get very hot and remain in this condition for a certain
time interval after the engine has been switched off. Before handling these components, make sure that
you are wearing insulating gloves or wait until the engine and the exhaust system have cooled down.
