15. Multi Function Display (MFD)
15.1 General
The Multi Function Display (MFD) consists of a 15.3 LCD display located between
the PFDs. The top half of the MFD permanently displays important aircraft systems
information including the MFD ADI, engine instruments, as well as the status of the
landing gear, flight control, pressurization and fuel systems information. Also
included on the upper portion of the MFD is the Crew Alerting System (CAS)
message window. The lower portion of the MFD allows pilot control of the Flight
Management System, moving map, electronic checklists and all system synoptic
pages.
