Replacing the Battery

The V530-R2000 contains a Battery that backs up the time and date information.
When the Battery is nearly discharged, the message "BATTERY LOW" will be dis-
played at startup. Replace the battery with an OMRON 3Z49-BAT1 Battery.
Dispose of the spent Battery properly.
Model

Always turn OFF the power supply before replacing the Battery.
The V530-R2000's clock will be reset if the new Battery is not connected within 2 minutes of remov-
ing the spent Battery.

Open the battery cover on the side of the
V530-R2000.
The cover can be opened with a small flat-blade screw-
driver.
The Battery is mounted to the inside of the battery
cover.

Hold the battery connector by its base and
disconnect it.

Cut the band that holds the Battery and
remove the Battery from the cover.

Reverse steps
Use the new band included with the new Battery to attach it to the battery cover.
The lithium battery may combust, explode, or burn if not handled properly.
Do not short circuit, attempt to charge, disassemble, apply pressure that would
deform to, or incinerate the lithium battery.
