Error Messages and Corrections

The following table lists the error codes displayed on the screen and measures to take when
reading fails. The error codes are listed in numerical order.

Troubleshooting

Connection Errors
Status
The POWER indicator is not
lit.
The Video Monitor image is
not clear.
Cannot make key inputs on
the Console.
Camera images are not dis-
played when using a Camera
and CCTV Lens.
Camera images are not dis-
played when using a Reading
Head.
The code is not displayed on
the screen.
The menu is not displayed.
There may not be a 2D code in the field of vision. Check the
positioning and mark and be sure they are correct.
The background may be not be consistent, making it impossible
to find the 2D code. Check the surface of the workpiece and the
condition of the lighting.
The cells of the 2D code cannot be discerned. Check the condi-
tion of the mark and the lighting, and then try teaching again.
Reading was not completed within the set time. Check the sur-
face of the workpiece and the condition of the lighting, and then
try teaching again.
Increase the setting of the Read Timeout setting.
Measure to take
• The power supply is not connected properly.
• The Monitor Cable is not connected properly.
• The Console Cable is not correctly connected.
• The lens cap is on the lens.
• The Camera Cable is not properly connected.
• The Cable is not connected.
• The correct Reading Head is not selected for the Camera Use Type
setting under System Set./Camera/Lighting.
• Press the ESC Key on the Console to switch to a live image, or move
to Teaching Mode and check the image.
• Press the ENT Key on the Console.
