Checking Fuel Tank Breather - Volkswagen CC 2012 Workshop Manual

– Disconnect breather lines -2- and -3- from activated charcoal
filter. Separate plug-in connectors
⇒ "3.1 Separating plug-in connectors", page 51
– Unscrew nuts -arrows-.
– Using a screwdriver, press in retaining hooks -arrow A-.
– Pull activated charcoal filter -1- downwards in direction of
-arrow B- out of bracket -2-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
Specified torque
♦ ⇒ page 66
♦ ⇒ General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr. 66 ; Wheel housing
liner; Assembly overview- rear wheel housing liner .
