Fuel supply system, petrol engines - Edition 05.2019
– Ensure that drain tap -C- on pressure tester - VAS 6550- -1-
is closed.
– Shut-off valves -A- and -B- on pressure tester - VAS 6550-
-1- are open.
– Switch on pressure tester - VAS 6550- -1-.
Fuel pressure test with "Guided Fault Finding":
– Follow instructions displayed on ⇒ Vehicle diagnostic tester.
Fuel pressure test without "Guided Fault Finding":
– Connect ⇒ Vehicle diagnostic tester.
– Select
Guided fault finding
– Carry out identification of vehicle.
– Using the button, select the following menu options one
GoTo
after the other:

Function/component selection
♦
Drive
♦
Engine
♦
24 Mixture preparation/injection
♦
Mechanical components
♦
High-pressure pump
– Follow instructions displayed on ⇒ Vehicle diagnostic tester.
