Filling tank, fuel, engine oil level
The 1.6 liter and 1.7 liter engines require nor-
mal commercial fuel of at least 91 RON
(91 octane).
If regular fuel with the adequate anti knock
properties is not available, use super or a
mixture.
A - Engine — 1.6 liter
B - Engine — 1.7 liter
The difference in quantity between the min.
and max. markings are:
on the 1.6 liter engine — 1.25 liters
on the 1.7 liter engine — 0.5 liters

Filling tank
The filler neck is at the rear on the right hand
side of the vehicle, and it is protected by a
flap.
Fuel quantity
The fuel tank holds approx. 60 liters, of which
5 liters are reserve.
Fuel gauge — see page 12.
Engine oil level
• Place vehicle on a level surface.
• Switch engine off and wait at least 5 minu-
tes to give the oil time to drain down to
the bottom of the crankcase.
• Pull dipstick out and wipe it with a non
fluffy cloth before checking oil level.
• The oil level must be between the two
marks on the dipstick and must never be
below the lower mark. Adding engine oil.
