Continuation for all other engine codes:

– Pull breather line and pressure retention valve -arrow- off ac‐
tivated charcoal filter. Separate plug-in connectors

Note
Grasp securing ring (grey) on pressure retention valve and pull
valve off upwards.
Continued for all vehicles:
– Unscrew tank flap unit securing bolt and remove tank flap unit
⇒ General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr. 55 ; Tank flap unit;
Removing and installing tank flap unit .
– Unbolt filler neck from body -arrows-.
– Unclip wire from filler neck -arrows-.
– Pull breather line -1- and supply line -2- off at separating point.
Separate plug-in connectors
Vehicles with auxiliary heater
– Pull fuel line -3- for metering pump - V54- off at separating
point. Separate plug-in connectors
