Preparatory work

Check the transmission. (

Carefully lubricate all parts before assembling.
Main work
–
Secure the main shaft in the vise with the gear teeth facing downward.
Guideline
Use soft jaws.

Mount needle bearing
–
Mount sixth-gear idler gear
–
Mount stop disk
–
Mount third/fourth-gear sliding gear
–
Mount lock ring
–
Mount needle bearing
–
Mount fifth-gear idler gear
–
Mount second-gear fixed gear
–
Finally, check all the gear wheels for smooth operation.
