Venting the oil pump

NOTE
Oil pump runs dry!
Damage to oil pump.
The venting function is not designed for intake from the oil pipe.
► Use a hand pump to draw the fuel oil to the filter.
The venting function is available for up to 5 minutes after setting the ON/OFF switch to ON.

If necessary, switch the appliance off and on again with the ON/OFF switch.
► Select Relay test in the contractor level (BM-2) or the contractor menu (AM).
► Select oil pump venting.
✔ If an external fuel valve is installed, A1 (fuel valve) will be activated at the same time.
✔ The oil pump will run for 60 seconds. The ignition will be active for safety reasons.
► Check the filter for air bubbles.
If there are no air bubbles,
► Select venting off.
► Put the heat generator into service.
If there are still air bubbles,
► repeat the process.
► Check the oil supply, if necessary.

Checking the flue system
The burner enters a fault state if, during commissioning, the oil pump does not supply sufficient oil.

► Vent the oil pump
Remove cap from left inlet air test port (1).
► Insert test probe 20 mm.
► Activate emissions test mode and wait for 15 minutes.
► Measure CO
CO
value exceeds 0.2% in the first 15 minutes, there is a leak in the flue system.

► Find and fix the leak.
► Measure the CO
CO
level remains below 0.2%, no leak in the flue system:

► End emissions test mode.
✔ The heat generator shuts down.
► Close the test port. Ensure the cap is seated firmly!
