REMOUNTING

Remount the handlebars in the reverse order of removal. Pay
special attention to the following points:
• When setting the handlebar clamp to the handlebar holder of
the steering upper bracket, face the punched mark A on its
clamp forward.
• Install the handlebars with the punch mark B aligned with the
handlebar clamp as shown.
• First, tighten the handlebar clamp bolts 1 to the half of speci-
fied torque, and then tighten the handlebar clamp bolts 1 and
2 to the specified torque.
' Handlebar clamp bolt: 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m)
• Apply grease to the throttle cables and assemble them to the
pulley.
% 99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A"
• With the stopper 3 engaged with the handlebar hole, assem-
ble the handlebar switch.
• Install the brake master cylinder. (#5-17)
• Align the mating face of clutch lever holders with the punch
mark C and tighten the bolt.
• With the stopper 4 engaged with the handlebar hole, assem-
ble the left handlebar switch.
