Appendix D: Running the Avaya Installation
Wizard (Avaya IW)
The Avaya IW is a web-based installation wizard that is used with the Avaya G250 Media
Gateway to perform initial configuration tasks and to upgrade software and firmware. The Avaya
IW is designed for use with systems that contain an S8300 Server, operating in either ICC or
LSP mode. You can use Avaya IW to configure the Avaya G250 Media Gateway or to upgrade
an installed S8300 with new Avaya Aura Communication Manager (CM) software and/or G250
firmware.
