8.4 Using Finisher FS-532
% Align the guide plate with the paper.
NOTICE
Do not punch special paper types such as labels or tracing pa-
per. If you use special paper, unexpected trouble may be
caused to the punch kit.

Select the desired mode using the staple mode selection button and punch button.
% To select Corner Staple/2 Position Staple, Fold & Staple, or Multi Tri-Fold, press the staple mode
selection button to turn on the lamp of desired mode. To select Punch, press the punch button to
turn on the lamp.
% Punch and Corner Staple/2 Position Staple are compatible. To use them in combination, press the
staple mode selection button to turn on the lamp of Corner Staple or 2 Position Staple. If any com-
bination is not desired, turn off all the lamps except that of Punch.

Open the paper delivery handle of the folder tray when Fold &
Staple, Multi Half-Fold, or Multi Tri-Fold mode is selected.

Press the Start/Stop button on the control panel of the post inserter.
% To stop the operation, press the Start/Stop button again.

Taking Out Sheets From the Folder Tray

Output sheets are delivered to the folder tray when using Fold & Staple, Multi Half-Fold, or Multi Tri-Fold
mode. Follow the procedure below to take out the output sheets from the folder tray.
