7.6 Inserting Different Original Images into Printed Sets: Insert Image
Use this function to insert images scanned from the original glass into a set of original document scanned
from the ADF at specified locations, then output the combined images as a finished set.
The images scanned from original glass will be added as the next page of specified document pages.
Example: Specifying pages [2] and [5] as insertion locations

Set the original to be inserted in the ADF.
% Be sure to arrange the original in page order, and then place it with the side to be copied, the first
page if the original is double-sided, facing upward. Up to 100 original sheets can be set.
% If the original count exceeds 100, divide them into blocks not exceeding 100 sheets, and load and
scan the block with the first page.

Press [Application] on the Copy Screen.

Press [Insert Image] on the Application Screen.

Description
A single sheet of image scanned from the original glass will be inserted after
the 2nd and 5th sheets scanned from a single-sided original to make sim-
plex-copied sets.
A single sheet of image scanned from original glass will be inserted after the
2nd and 5th sheets scanned from a single-sided original to make duplex-
copied sets. The insert image will be placed on the front side of the 2nd and
4th sheets of the duplex-copied sets.

2nd and 5th pages scanned from a double-sided original to make duplex-
copied sets. The insert image will be placed on the front side of the 2nd and
4th sheets of the duplex-copied sets.

copied sets.
