Enabling and disabling A TIS mode
ATIS is a European system used on some inland
waterways. A unique ATIS ID must b e entered to use
ATIS mode.
With ATIS mode enabled the radio's region will b e
fixed to the INT (international) f requency band and the
following functions are disabled:
• DSC functions
• Watch Mode
• Scan Mode
• High/low power i s restricted on certain channels
From the Main menu.
1. Select Set-up.
2. Select ATIS set-up .
3. Select ATIS.
If n o ATIS ID has been set t hen you will b e requested
to enter o ne before ATIS mode is enabled refer t o
5.11 E ntering your A TIS ID for i nstructions.
4. If a n ATIS ID has already been set t hen select
enable A TIS mode or Off to disable A TIS mode.

7.7 A IS receiver
Depending on variant y our r adio may have a built-in AIS
receiver.
With the built-in AIS receiver switched on AIS information
can be sent t o a connected Raymarine® MFD using
either N MEA 0183 or S ea Talkng ®.
Note: If u sing the built-in AIS receiver a nd outputting
over N MEA 0183, e nsure that t he baud rate is set t o
0183 High speed : Menu > Set-up > Network output
Switching AIS on and off
From the Set-up menu: Menu > Set-up
1. Select AIS.
Selecting AIS will s witch the internal A IS receiver O n
and Off.
