1. Select Fog horn .
2. Select Manual m ode .
3. Press and hold the PTT button to sound a continuous
fog horn tone .
4. Press the Back button to e xit F og horn mode.
Using automatic fog horn modes
From the Hail/Fog/Int menu: Menu > Hail/Fog/Int .
1. Select Fog horn .
2. Select Automatic mode .
3. Select a n automatic pattern.
The selected pattern will p lay and repeat u ntil
interrupted.
4. Select Stop fog horn to exit t he automatic fog horn
mode, o r
5. Select Change pattern to select a different f og horn
pattern.
6. T o continue using the radio whilst i n automatic fog
horn mode select Back 4 times to return to the
Homescreen.
You can now continue to use the radio as normal.
The fog horn pattern will c ontinue to repeat e very
2 minutes. If y ou are making a call w hen it i s due
to sound the fog horn will b e suspended until y ou
finish your c all.
Switching off F og Horn mode
Automatic Fog Horn mode will r emain active until
switched off.
From the Hail/Fog/Int menu: Menu > Hail/Fog/Int .
1. Select Fog horn .
2. Select Stop fog horn to switch off t he automatic fog
horn mode

8.4 Intercom
The Intercom function is available when more than 1
station is connected to your r adio.
The intercom function allows voice communication
between handset s tations. Calls can be initiated from
either s tation.
Using the intercom
From the Hail/Fog/Int menu: Menu > Hail/Fog/Int .
1. Select Intercom.
The other s tation will r ing.
2. W ait f or t he handset s tation to acknowledge the call.
3. Press and hold the PTT button and speak your
message.
