Pressing the Power button once while the radio is
switched on will o pen the
list c an be used to adjust t he brightness, c ontrast a nd
access frequently used functions.
Frequently used functions can be added by selecting
Add/edit s hortcuts.

Adjusting Brightness and Contrast

The L CD Brightness (Backlight) a nd Contrast c an be
adjusted using the Shortcuts list.
From any screen:
1. Press the Power button.
2. Select Backlight or Contrast.
3. Use the Rotary knob to adjust t he Backlight o r
Contrast t o the desired level.
4. Press the Back button to return to the previous
screen.
The Backlight a nd Contrast s ettings can also be
accessed from the Display set-up menu:
> Display set-up .

5.5 Shared Brightness

You can set u p Shared Brightness groups which enables
simultaneous brightness adjustment t he all u nits that
Shortcuts list . The Shortcuts
are part o f t he same group.
The following products are compatible with Shared
Brightness:
• LightHouse™ or L ightHouse™ 2 powered MFDs.
• Sea Talkng ® Instrument d isplays and Pilot c ontrollers.
• Sea Talkng ® VHF DSC Radios.
Any adjustments to the Shared Brightness level w ill b e
reflected on all u nits assigned to the same group.
Multiple brightness groups can be configured. These
groups could be used to reflect t he physical l ocation of
Menu > Set-up
units on your v essel. For e
can be set t o one group, a nd the units on the flybridge
can be set t o a different g roup.
Shared Brightness requires:
• all u nits to be compatible with the Shared Brightness
function (see list o f c ompatible units above).
