Pass-through panel k it m ounting
When installing the Fistmic or t he optional R aymic
handset, t he pass-through panel k it s hould be used to
secure the cable to any panels the cable has to pass
through.

1. Check the selected location for t he Mounting plate
clear fl at a rea is required.
2. Using a pencil, o ffer u p the Mounting plate to the
desired location and mark the location of t he screw
holes and the center h ole on the mounting panel.
3. Drill t he mounting holes using a suitable size drill b it.
4. Drill t he center h ole using a 25 mm (1 i n.) h ole cutting
saw.
5. Pull t he connector e nd of t he cable through the hole
in the mounting surface.

6. Place the Mounting plate gasket o ver t he end of t he
connector.
7. With the recessed side facing away from the
mounting panel, p lace the Mounting plate over t he
end of t he connector.
8. Place the lanyard end of t he Splash-proof d ust c ap
over t he connector, ensuring the lanyard sits in the
recess in the Mounting plate.
9. Place the Mounting plate nut o ver t he connector a nd
tighten clockwise using a 13/16 in. (21 m m) s ocket
wrench, b eing careful n ot t o damage the plastic nut
by overtightening.
10. Secure the Mounting plate to the mounting surface
using the supplied screws.
11. Attach the Handset / F istmic connector t o the cable
connector a nd rotate the locking collar c lockwise to
secure.
12. Connect t he opposite end of t he cable to the
required connector e ither o n the Base station or
to another p ass-through panel m ounting plate
connector.
Note: Drill b it, t ap size and tightening torque is
dependent o n the thickness and type of m aterial t he
unit i s to be mounted on.

Before mounting the unit, e nsure that y ou have:

• Selected a suitable location, e nsuring there is nothing
behind the mounting surface that m ay be damaged
when drilling.

• Identified the cable connections and route that t he
cables will t ake.
1. Check the selected location for t he mounting cradle
a clear fl at a rea is required, w ith sufficient s pace
around it t o place and remove the Handset.
2. Using a pencil, o ffer u p the cradle to the desired
location and mark the location of t he screw holes
on the mounting surface.
3. Drill t he mounting holes using a suitable size drill b it.
4. Hold the cradle in place and secure using the screws
provided.
5. Place the Handset i nto the cradle until i t c licks into
position.
Passive speaker m ounting
Follow the steps below to mount t he Passive speaker.
Before mounting the Passive speaker e nsure that y ou
have:
• selected a suitable location (a clear, flat s urface is
required).
• identified the location for a dditional c omponents, s uch
as the Handset o r B ase station etc.
• identified the relevant c able connections and the
route that t he cables will t ake.
• removed the bezel.
